MLA Sanjay Kelkar warns TMC Officials to work or else BJP will come on streets to protest

 BJP MLA Sanjay Kelkar meets TMC officials at TMC Majiwada Manpada Ward Office 

Thane City MLA Sanjay Kelkar met with TMC Officials of Majiwada Manpada Ward Office in Majiwada, regarding pending work of many issues in and around Majiwada. Majiwada locality which is among the big ward in Thane comprising of localities like Majiwada, Balkum, Dhokali, Yashashwi Nagar, Kolshet, Highland, Dadlani Park, Manpada. The citizens of this area have alleged that the Ward Officials are not doing their work due to which people are inconvenienced. During this meet the local BJP Leaders of the ward were also present. Sachin Shingare, a local BJP Leader from Majiwada also highlighted some pending issues of the locality like poor condition of toilets in TMC Schools and Public places, and the poor maintenance of Majiwada Samshan Bhoomi at Majiwada. MLA Sanjay Kelkar also pointed out to the officials about the increase of illegal hawkers in and around service roads and major roads in Majiwada, Kolshet, Manpada areas which is affecting citizens on daily basis. The ward officers were also asked to take action against illegal banners and illegal constructions happening in full swing in this area. Since the past 1 year after the Dissolution of Thane Municipal Elections after the tenure ended last year, the TMC have not been able to provide basic services to local residents. The local Corporators tenure ended post which they are no where to be seen in helping the citizens while the local BJP Unit led by Mr. Sachin Shingare and MLA Sanjay Kelkar have personally made multiple visits to the areas to resolve issues. In the past week the long pending Kolshet road widening work which was stalled for the last 9 months, was also restarted after MLA Sanjay Kelkar's intervention. The Kolshet citizens had pointed out pending road widening work, to Mr. Shingare after which the road widening work have picked up speed again. MLA Sanjay Kelkar has also warned the TMC Officials to quickly resolve pending issues, or else the BJP workers will come to streets to protest against them. The MLA has also asked the TMC Officials to reopen the Nandibaba Mandir at Dhokali which is shut for citizens for many days.
